Kejadian 9:25-29 (TB)  berkatalah ia: "Terkutuklah Kanaan, hendaklah ia menjadi hamba yang paling hina bagi saudara-saudaranya."

Lagi katanya: "Terpujilah TUHAN, Allah Sem, tetapi hendaklah Kanaan menjadi hamba baginya.

Allah meluaskan kiranya tempat kediaman Yafet, dan hendaklah ia tinggal dalam kemah-kemah Sem, tetapi hendaklah Kanaan menjadi hamba baginya."

Nuh masih hidup tiga ratus lima puluh tahun sesudah air bah.

Jadi Nuh mencapai umur sembilan ratus lima puluh tahun, lalu ia mati.

Genesis 9:25-29 (AKJV)  And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.

And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.

Matius 8:5-9 (TB)  Ketika Yesus masuk ke Kapernaum, datanglah seorang perwira mendapatkan Dia dan memohon kepada-Nya:

"Tuan, hambaku terbaring di rumah karena sakit lumpuh dan ia sangat menderita."

Yesus berkata kepadanya: "Aku akan datang menyembuhkannya."

Tetapi jawab perwira itu kepada-Nya: "Tuan, aku tidak layak menerima Tuan di dalam rumahku, katakan saja sepatah kata, maka hambaku itu akan sembuh.

Sebab aku sendiri seorang bawahan, dan di bawahku ada pula prajurit. Jika aku berkata kepada salah seorang prajurit itu: Pergi!, maka ia pergi, dan kepada seorang lagi: Datang!, maka ia datang, ataupun kepada hambaku: Kerjakanlah ini!, maka ia mengerjakannya."

Matthew 8:5-9 (AKJV)  And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came to him a centurion, beseeching him,

And saying, Lord, my servant lies at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

And Jesus said to him, I will come and heal him.

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that you should come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.

Kejadian 10:1-5 (TB)  Inilah keturunan Sem, Ham dan Yafet, anak-anak Nuh. Setelah air bah itu lahirlah anak-anak lelaki bagi mereka.

Keturunan Yafet ialah Gomer, Magog, Madai, Yawan, Tubal, Mesekh dan Tiras.

Keturunan Gomer ialah Askenas, Rifat dan Togarma.

Keturunan Yawan ialah Elisa, Tarsis, orang Kitim dan orang Dodanim.

Dari mereka inilah berpencar bangsa-bangsa daerah pesisir. Itulah keturunan Yafet, masing-masing di tanahnya, dengan bahasanya sendiri, menurut kaum dan bangsa mereka.

Genesis 10:1-5 (AKJV)  Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and to them were sons born after the flood.

The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

Matius 8:10-14 (TB)  Setelah Yesus mendengar hal itu, heranlah Ia dan berkata kepada mereka yang mengikuti-Nya: "Aku berkata kepadamu, sesungguhnya iman sebesar ini tidak pernah Aku jumpai pada seorang pun di antara orang Israel.

Aku berkata kepadamu: Banyak orang akan datang dari Timur dan Barat dan duduk makan bersama-sama dengan Abraham, Ishak dan Yakub di dalam Kerajaan Sorga,

sedangkan anak-anak Kerajaan itu akan dicampakkan ke dalam kegelapan yang paling gelap, di sanalah akan terdapat ratap dan kertak gigi."

Lalu Yesus berkata kepada perwira itu: "Pulanglah dan jadilah kepadamu seperti yang engkau percaya." Maka pada saat itu juga sembuhlah hambanya.

Setibanya di rumah Petrus, Yesus pun melihat ibu mertua Petrus terbaring karena sakit demam.

Matthew 8:10-14 (AKJV)  When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Truly I say to you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

And I say to you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

And Jesus said to the centurion, Go your way; and as you have believed, so be it done to you. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

And when Jesus was come into Peter' house, he saw his wife' mother laid, and sick of a fever.

Kejadian 10:6-10 (TB)  Keturunan Ham ialah Kush, Misraim, Put dan Kanaan.

Keturunan Kush ialah Seba, Hawila, Sabta, Raema dan Sabtekha; anak-anak Raema ialah Syeba dan Dedan.

Kush memperanakkan Nimrod; dialah yang mula-mula sekali orang yang berkuasa di bumi;

ia seorang pemburu yang gagah perkasa di hadapan TUHAN, sebab itu dikatakan orang: "Seperti Nimrod, seorang pemburu yang gagah perkasa di hadapan TUHAN."

Mula-mula kerajaannya terdiri dari Babel, Erekh, dan Akad, semuanya di tanah Sinear.

Genesis 10:6-10 (AKJV)  And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: why it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Matius 8:15-19 (TB)  Maka dipegang-Nya tangan perempuan itu, lalu lenyaplah demamnya. Ia pun bangunlah dan melayani Dia.

Menjelang malam dibawalah kepada Yesus banyak orang yang kerasukan setan dan dengan sepatah kata Yesus mengusir roh-roh itu dan menyembuhkan orang-orang yang menderita sakit.

Hal itu terjadi supaya genaplah firman yang disampaikan oleh nabi Yesaya: "Dialah yang memikul kelemahan kita dan menanggung penyakit kita."

Ketika Yesus melihat orang banyak mengelilingi-Nya, Ia menyuruh bertolak ke seberang.

Lalu datanglah seorang ahli Taurat dan berkata kepada-Nya: "Guru, aku akan mengikut Engkau, ke mana saja Engkau pergi."

Matthew 8:15-19 (AKJV)  And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered to them.

When the even was come, they brought to him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses.

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart to the other side.

And a certain scribe came, and said to him, Master, I will follow you wherever you go.

Kejadian 10:11-15 (TB)  Dari negeri itu ia pergi ke Asyur, lalu mendirikan Niniwe, Rehobot-Ir, Kalah

dan Resen di antara Niniwe dan Kalah; itulah kota besar itu.

Misraim memperanakkan orang Ludim, orang Anamim, orang Lehabim, orang Naftuhim,

orang Patrusim, orang Kasluhim dan orang Kaftorim; dari mereka inilah berasal orang Filistin.

Kanaan memperanakkan Sidon, anak sulungnya, dan Het,

Genesis 10:11-15 (AKJV)  Out of that land went forth Asshur, and built Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.

And Canaan begat Sidon his first born, and Heth,

Matius 8:20-24 (TB)  Yesus berkata kepadanya: "Serigala mempunyai liang dan burung mempunyai sarang, tetapi Anak Manusia tidak mempunyai tempat untuk meletakkan kepala-Nya."

Seorang lain, yaitu salah seorang murid-Nya, berkata kepada-Nya: "Tuhan, izinkanlah aku pergi dahulu menguburkan ayahku."

Tetapi Yesus berkata kepadanya: "Ikutlah Aku dan biarlah orang-orang mati menguburkan orang-orang mati mereka."

Lalu Yesus naik ke dalam perahu dan murid-murid-Nya pun mengikuti-Nya.

Sekonyong-konyong mengamuklah angin ribut di danau itu, sehingga perahu itu ditimbus gelombang, tetapi Yesus tidur.

Matthew 8:20-24 (AKJV)  And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has not where to lay his head.

And another of his disciples said to him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

But Jesus said to him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

Kejadian 10:16-20 (TB)  serta orang Yebusi, orang Amori dan orang Girgasi;

orang Hewi, orang Arki, orang Sini,

orang Arwadi, orang Semari dan orang Hamati; kemudian berseraklah kaum-kaum orang Kanaan itu.

Daerah orang Kanaan adalah dari Sidon ke arah Gerar sampai ke Gaza, ke arah Sodom, Gomora, Adma dan Zeboim sampai ke Lasa.

Itulah keturunan Ham menurut kaum mereka, menurut bahasa mereka, menurut tanah mereka, menurut bangsa mereka.

Genesis 10:16-20 (AKJV)  And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,

And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as you come to Gerar, to Gaza; as you go, to Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even to Lasha.

These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

Matius 8:25-29 (TB)  Maka datanglah murid-murid-Nya membangunkan Dia, katanya: "Tuhan, tolonglah, kita binasa."

Ia berkata kepada mereka: "Mengapa kamu takut, kamu yang kurang percaya?" Lalu bangunlah Yesus menghardik angin dan danau itu, maka danau itu menjadi teduh sekali.

Dan heranlah orang-orang itu, katanya: "Orang apakah Dia ini, sehingga angin dan danau pun taat kepada-Nya?"

Setibanya di seberang, yaitu di daerah orang Gadara, datanglah dari pekuburan dua orang yang kerasukan setan menemui Yesus. Mereka sangat berbahaya, sehingga tidak seorang pun yang berani melalui jalan itu.

Dan mereka itu pun berteriak, katanya: "Apa urusan-Mu dengan kami, hai Anak Allah? Adakah Engkau ke mari untuk menyiksa kami sebelum waktunya?"

Matthew 8:25-29 (AKJV)  And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

And he said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

But the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with you, Jesus, you Son of God? are you come here to torment us before the time?

Kejadian 10:21-25 (TB)  Lahirlah juga anak-anak bagi Sem, bapa semua anak Eber serta abang Yafet.

Keturunan Sem ialah Elam, Asyur, Arpakhsad, Lud dan Aram.

Keturunan Aram ialah Us, Hul, Geter dan Mas.

Arpakhsad memperanakkan Selah, dan Selah memperanakkan Eber.

Bagi Eber lahir dua anak laki-laki; nama yang seorang ialah Peleg, sebab dalam zamannya bumi terbagi, dan nama adiknya ialah Yoktan.

Genesis 10:21-25 (AKJV)  To Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

And to Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother' name was Joktan.

Matius 8:30-34 (TB)  Tidak jauh dari mereka itu sejumlah besar babi sedang mencari makan.

Maka setan-setan itu meminta kepada-Nya, katanya: "Jika Engkau mengusir kami, suruhlah kami pindah ke dalam kawanan babi itu."

Yesus berkata kepada mereka: "Pergilah!" Lalu keluarlah mereka dan masuk ke dalam babi-babi itu. Maka terjunlah seluruh kawanan babi itu dari tepi jurang ke dalam danau dan mati di dalam air.

Maka larilah penjaga-penjaga babi itu dan setibanya di kota, diceriterakannyalah segala sesuatu, juga tentang orang-orang yang kerasukan setan itu.

Maka keluarlah seluruh kota mendapatkan Yesus dan setelah mereka berjumpa dengan Dia, mereka pun mendesak, supaya Ia meninggalkan daerah mereka.

Matthew 8:30-34 (AKJV)  And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

So the devils sought him, saying, If you cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

And he said to them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.

And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they sought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

Kejadian 10:26-30 (TB)  Yoktan memperanakkan Almodad, Selef, Hazar-Mawet dan Yerah,

Hadoram, Uzal dan Dikla,

Obal, Abimael dan Syeba,

Ofir, Hawila dan Yobab; itulah semuanya keturunan Yoktan.

Daerah kediaman mereka terbentang dari Mesa ke arah Sefar, yaitu pegunungan di sebelah timur.

Genesis 10:26-30 (AKJV)  And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

And their dwelling was from Mesha, as you go to Sephar a mount of the east.

Matius 9:1-5 (TB)  Sesudah itu naiklah Yesus ke dalam perahu lalu menyeberang. Kemudian sampailah Ia ke kota-Nya sendiri.

Maka dibawa oranglah kepada-Nya seorang lumpuh yang terbaring di tempat tidurnya. Ketika Yesus melihat iman mereka, berkatalah Ia kepada orang lumpuh itu: "Percayalah, hai anak-Ku, dosamu sudah diampuni."

Maka berkatalah beberapa orang ahli Taurat dalam hatinya: "Ia menghujat Allah."

Tetapi Yesus mengetahui pikiran mereka, lalu berkata: "Mengapa kamu memikirkan hal-hal yang jahat di dalam hatimu?

Manakah lebih mudah, mengatakan: Dosamu sudah diampuni, atau mengatakan: Bangunlah dan berjalanlah?

Matthew 9:1-5 (AKJV)  And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said to the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; your sins be forgiven you.

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Why think you evil in your hearts?

For whether is easier, to say, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and walk?

Kejadian 10:31-32 (TB)  Itulah keturunan Sem, menurut kaum mereka, menurut bahasa mereka, menurut tanah mereka, menurut bangsa mereka.

Itulah segala kaum anak-anak Nuh menurut keturunan mereka, menurut bangsa mereka. Dan dari mereka itulah berpencar bangsa-bangsa di bumi setelah air bah itu.

Genesis 10:31-32 (WEB)  These are the sons of Shem, by their families, according to their languages, lands, and nations.

These are the families of the sons of Noah, by their generations, according to their nations. The nations divided from these in the earth after the flood.

Kejadian 11:1-3 (TB)  Adapun seluruh bumi, satu bahasanya dan satu logatnya.

Maka berangkatlah mereka ke sebelah timur dan menjumpai tanah datar di tanah Sinear, lalu menetaplah mereka di sana.

Mereka berkata seorang kepada yang lain: "Marilah kita membuat batu bata dan membakarnya baik-baik." Lalu bata itulah dipakai mereka sebagai batu dan tér gala-gala sebagai tanah liat.

Genesis 11:1-3 (WEB)  The whole earth was of one language and of one speech.

As they traveled from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they lived there.

They said to one another, “Come, let’s make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar.

Matius 9:6-10 (TB)  Tetapi supaya kamu tahu, bahwa di dunia ini Anak Manusia berkuasa mengampuni dosa" — lalu berkatalah Ia kepada orang lumpuh itu — : "Bangunlah, angkatlah tempat tidurmu dan pulanglah ke rumahmu!"

Dan orang itu pun bangun lalu pulang.

Maka orang banyak yang melihat hal itu takut lalu memuliakan Allah yang telah memberikan kuasa sedemikian itu kepada manusia.

Setelah Yesus pergi dari situ, Ia melihat seorang yang bernama Matius duduk di rumah cukai, lalu Ia berkata kepadanya: "Ikutlah Aku." Maka berdirilah Matius lalu mengikut Dia.

Kemudian ketika Yesus makan di rumah Matius, datanglah banyak pemungut cukai dan orang berdosa dan makan bersama-sama dengan Dia dan murid-murid-Nya.

Matthew 9:6-10 (WEB)  But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins-” (then he said to the paralytic), “Get up, and take up your mat, and go to your house.”

He arose and departed to his house.

But when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

As Jesus passed by from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, “Follow me.” He got up and followed him.

As he sat in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples.

Kejadian 11:4-8 (TB)  Juga kata mereka: "Marilah kita dirikan bagi kita sebuah kota dengan sebuah menara yang puncaknya sampai ke langit, dan marilah kita cari nama, supaya kita jangan terserak ke seluruh bumi."

Lalu turunlah TUHAN untuk melihat kota dan menara yang didirikan oleh anak-anak manusia itu,

dan Ia berfirman: "Mereka ini satu bangsa dengan satu bahasa untuk semuanya. Ini barulah permulaan usaha mereka; mulai dari sekarang apa pun juga yang mereka rencanakan, tidak ada yang tidak akan dapat terlaksana.

Baiklah Kita turun dan mengacaubalaukan di sana bahasa mereka, sehingga mereka tidak mengerti lagi bahasa masing-masing."

Demikianlah mereka diserakkan TUHAN dari situ ke seluruh bumi, dan mereka berhenti mendirikan kota itu.

Genesis 11:4-8 (WEB)  They said, “Come, let’s build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top reaches to the sky, and let’s make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad on the surface of the whole earth.”

Yahweh came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built.

Yahweh said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do. Now nothing will be withheld from them, which they intend to do.

Come, let’s go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

So Yahweh scattered them abroad from there on the surface of all the earth. They stopped building the city.

Matius 9:11-15 (TB)  Pada waktu orang Farisi melihat hal itu, berkatalah mereka kepada murid-murid Yesus: "Mengapa gurumu makan bersama-sama dengan pemungut cukai dan orang berdosa?"

Yesus mendengarnya dan berkata: "Bukan orang sehat yang memerlukan tabib, tetapi orang sakit.

Jadi pergilah dan pelajarilah arti firman ini: Yang Kukehendaki ialah belas kasihan dan bukan persembahan, karena Aku datang bukan untuk memanggil orang benar, melainkan orang berdosa."

Kemudian datanglah murid-murid Yohanes kepada Yesus dan berkata: "Mengapa kami dan orang Farisi berpuasa, tetapi murid-murid-Mu tidak?"

Jawab Yesus kepada mereka: "Dapatkah sahabat-sahabat mempelai laki-laki berdukacita selama mempelai itu bersama mereka? Tetapi waktunya akan datang mempelai itu diambil dari mereka dan pada waktu itulah mereka akan berpuasa.

Matthew 9:11-15 (WEB)  When the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.

But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Then John’s disciples came to him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples don’t fast?”

Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

Kejadian 11:9-13 (TB)  Itulah sebabnya sampai sekarang nama kota itu disebut Babel, karena di situlah dikacaubalaukan TUHAN bahasa seluruh bumi dan dari situlah mereka diserakkan TUHAN ke seluruh bumi.

Inilah keturunan Sem. Setelah Sem berumur seratus tahun, ia memperanakkan Arpakhsad, dua tahun setelah air bah itu.

Sem masih hidup lima ratus tahun, setelah ia memperanakkan Arpakhsad, dan ia memperanakkan anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan.

Setelah Arpakhsad hidup tiga puluh lima tahun, ia memperanakkan Selah.

Arpakhsad masih hidup empat ratus tiga tahun, setelah ia memperanakkan Selah, dan ia memperanakkan anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan.

Genesis 11:9-13 (WEB)  Therefore its name was called Babel, because there Yahweh confused the language of all the earth. From there, Yahweh scattered them abroad on the surface of all the earth.

This is the history of the generations of Shem: Shem was one hundred years old when he became the father of Arpachshad two years after the flood.

Shem lived five hundred years after he became the father of Arpachshad, and became the father of more sons and daughters.

Arpachshad lived thirty-five years and became the father of Shelah.

Arpachshad lived four hundred three years after he became the father of Shelah, and became the father of more sons and daughters.

Matius 9:16-20 (TB)  Tidak seorang pun menambalkan secarik kain yang belum susut pada baju yang tua, karena jika demikian kain penambal itu akan mencabik baju itu, lalu makin besarlah koyaknya.

Begitu pula anggur yang baru tidak diisikan ke dalam kantong kulit yang tua, karena jika demikian kantong itu akan koyak sehingga anggur itu terbuang dan kantong itu pun hancur. Tetapi anggur yang baru disimpan orang dalam kantong yang baru pula, dan dengan demikian terpeliharalah kedua-duanya."

Sementara Yesus berbicara demikian kepada mereka, datanglah seorang kepala rumah ibadat, lalu menyembah Dia dan berkata: "Anakku perempuan baru saja meninggal, tetapi datanglah dan letakkanlah tangan-Mu atasnya, maka ia akan hidup."

Lalu Yesus pun bangunlah dan mengikuti orang itu bersama-sama dengan murid-murid-Nya.

Pada waktu itu seorang perempuan yang sudah dua belas tahun lamanya menderita pendarahan maju mendekati Yesus dari belakang dan menjamah jumbai jubah-Nya.

Matthew 9:16-20 (WEB)  No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch would tear away from the garment, and a worse hole is made.

Neither do people put new wine into old wine skins, or else the skins would burst, and the wine be spilled, and the skins ruined. No, they put new wine into fresh wine skins, and both are preserved.”

While he told these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”

Jesus got up and followed him, as did his disciples.

Behold, a woman who had a discharge of blood for twelve years came behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment;

Selah masih hidup empat ratus tiga tahun, setelah ia memperanakkan Eber, dan ia memperanakkan anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan.

Setelah Eber hidup tiga puluh empat tahun, ia memperanakkan Peleg.

Eber masih hidup empat ratus tiga puluh tahun, setelah ia memperanakkan Peleg, dan ia memperanakkan anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan.

Setelah Peleg hidup tiga puluh tahun, ia memperanakkan Rehu.

Genesis 11:14-18 (WEB)  Shelah lived thirty years, and became the father of Eber.

Shelah lived four hundred three years after he became the father of Eber, and became the father of more sons and daughters.

Peleg lived thirty years, and became the father of Reu.

Matius 9:21-25 (TB)  Karena katanya dalam hatinya: "Asal kujamah saja jubah-Nya, aku akan sembuh."

Tetapi Yesus berpaling dan memandang dia serta berkata: "Teguhkanlah hatimu, hai anak-Ku, imanmu telah menyelamatkan engkau." Maka sejak saat itu sembuhlah perempuan itu.

Ketika Yesus tiba di rumah kepala rumah ibadat itu dan melihat peniup-peniup seruling dan orang banyak ribut,

berkatalah Ia: "Pergilah, karena anak ini tidak mati, tetapi tidur." Tetapi mereka menertawakan Dia.

Setelah orang banyak itu diusir, Yesus masuk dan memegang tangan anak itu, lalu bangkitlah anak itu.

But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, “Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players, and the crowd in noisy disorder,

he said to them, “Make room, because the girl isn’t dead, but sleeping.” They were ridiculing him.

But when the crowd was put out, he entered in, took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
